My Art
From time to time I like to dive into an art project, some of which really resonate with me. Here are some of my favourites with links to my shop where you can purchase the art using a variety of media. I hope you like.

Geometric Fish Watercolour
I had great fun working on this piece. Colouring the geometric fish drawings I created with watercolours was a trip and I found this piece transferred very well to some media, as you can see here in my shop.

Valley of the Bees
Valley of the Bees was an exercise in patience and mindfulness and I credit Mariela for suggesting I use some restraint and not colour the centre of the piece, which gave it some dimension. Check out the media I think it best sits on here in my shop.

Southampton Rust
Walking the stunning pebble beaches of Southampton, Ontario inspired me to draw this piece. Running the piece through a "rust" filter completed it for me and I think it looks great on media like mugs and throw pillows. Check it out here in my shop.

Elastics Lined Up
I created this by throwing elastics on paper, tracing the outer and inner lines, and adding some cool stripes. You can see the process here on Instagram. I loved the result and had to post it to my shop.

Trafal Beach Hut
I found this rough beach shed on a trip to Trafal Beach near Faro in The Algarve, Portugal, and thought it would make a great foundation for digital art, displayed on such media as coasters and writing journals. Have a closer look in my shop.

Save the Arctic
Can you spot all the Arctic wildlife featured in this word art piece I created? It's a definite conversation piece, whether on a T, tote, or mug. The Polar Bear portrait provides the perfect landscape for the fun, informative, stylish word art piece. Check it out here in my shop.

The County
This piece I did won first prize in a design contest for County T-Shirts in Prince Edward County and was one of my first forays into wordart. It's a simple design that captures all the towns in PEC and was imprinted on Ts sold in the shop in the summer of 2016.

Waves
As part of an art project at West Park Healthcare Centre - my old workplace - I took part in a workshop teaching Japanese brush/ink painting, in which I created this piece. I'm quite proud of it and I'd love to work with the medium again. You can visit my shop here to look at pieces with this art. I think it inspired at least one of the murals that were erected at the hospital. What do you think?
